Meet Kelly, the Makeup
Artist Behind MyMkUp

Since 2003, beauty has been more than Kelly Dolev’s profession. It has been her way of expressing creativity and helping women discover their own kind of beautiful.

As a professional makeup artist, Kelly has worked with thousands of women: bridal appointments, special occasions, private makeup coaching, hundreds of beauty workshops, international industry conferences, speaking engagements, and professional training programs for makeup artists.

Every client brought a different story, a different face, and a different goal. More than two decades of that work shaped the belief that runs through everything MyMkUp does: beauty is never one-size-fits-all.

The Comment That Started It All

Over the years, Kelly kept hearing the same things from clients:

“I wish you were here with me.”

“I only know how to do my makeup when you’re next to me.”

“Why can’t I take you home with me?”

Those moments revealed what women were really asking for. Not more products. Not another video made for someone else’s face. Personalized guidance, reassurance, and a trusted expert by their side.

That realization became K-Look, Kelly’s first virtual one-on-one makeup guidance service, and the first step toward something bigger.

From One Artist to a Platform

At the same time, Kelly saw the other side of the problem: talented makeup artists everywhere were looking for new ways to share their expertise and reach clients beyond in-person appointments.

Bringing those two needs together became MyMkUp: a platform that connects women with professional makeup artists through live, personalized online makeup guidance. Together with the entrepreneurs and investors who believed in the vision, Kelly combined more than twenty years of beauty expertise with technology to build a new way for women and artists to meet.

Kelly is the first makeup artist on MyMkUp. She continues to run sessions, testing and refining the experience from both the client’s side and the artist’s side.

She also personally reviews every makeup artist who joins the platform: technical skill, empathy, and the ability to create a genuine connection through the screen. Every artist walks you through your look step by step, making the process clear, supportive, and inspiring. When you see “100% verified artists,” that verification has a name behind it.

MyMkUp was born out of passion for beauty, for the special moments before the spotlight, and for the confidence that comes from knowing a professional MkUp artist is right there with you before your special event.

More than a service, MyMkUp is an experience. Beauty, to Kelly, has never been about changing who you are. It’s about revealing more of it. We can’t wait to shine with you!
